AKI GmbH was founded in 1986 and is still active today as a leading provider of solu­tions in all areas of digital docu­ment proces­sing and infor­ma­tion manage­ment.
For more than 35 years, we have been supporting our custo­mers as a central contact partner and deve­lo­ping cross-manu­fac­turer soft­ware solu­tions true to our guiding prin­ciple “Focus on the customer”.

In 2012, KYOCERA Docu­ment Solu­tions Deutsch­land GmbH acquired a stake in AKI in order to further expand its exper­tise in the consul­ting and solu­tions busi­ness. As part of the KYOCERA Group, we have the oppor­tu­nity to draw on the philo­sophy, exper­tise and struc­tures of a global tech­no­logy group in order to provide our services and solu­tions in an even more tail­ored manner for our customers.

While the focus of sales acti­vi­ties is concen­trated on Europe, AKI’s custo­mers today include small, medium-sized and large compa­nies world­wide and across all industries.
